Abstract

This is the story of a ship and its building that passes marked by the oscillation of events around them. Rex, ship of the Dragon series and the Nautical Club of the Pantano de San Juan, work of José Antonio Corrales. The project from the beginning and its subsequent development, is forged and shaped in this nebula of variations and imposed changes, where the sensitive and attentive role of the architect, is present using it to their benefit. The unpublished biographies of our protagonists intersect in a surprising way since their inception and share the uncertainty present in the journey of their stories. Today they participate, in an unexpected way, of the same destination. But it was not always like that, nor the built end of the building. His manifest quality surprises us even more if it is possible to know the baggage of events that did not presage the final result. The mastery of José Antonio Corrales is demonstrated in San Juan not only in its result, but also in its way of redirecting the project transforming the variable wind always to its benefit.
