Interviews between architects are an increasingly widespread communicative practice in the architectural media today. Ever since in the Dutch cultural context of the 1960s architectural publications such as the little magazines Forum, Delftse School, Provo,..., became part of architectural canon as difussion of «the medium is the message», the newspaper Haagse Post proposed a kind of journalism that Remment Lucas Koolhaas practiced as a journalist responsible for interviews on a variety of topics. The intention is to initially compare what was published in these Dutch magazines of the time about New Babylon with Koolhaas’ interview to Constant Nieuwenhuys on the same subject in 1966, which serves as a methodological example to define the objective of revealing the way in which he projects while he talks as an illustration of the hypothesis proposed of «to project by interviewing». A model that serves to produce another path of transferable knowledge as an alternative discourse of architectural theory.Downloads
