Abstract

The objective of the article is to create a theoretical basis that allows to defend the hypothesis that any city, as well as every architecture, is temporary, ephemeral and ever-changing. Through the analysis of several case study, it will become evident that any architectural manifestation, from the very moment it is situated in reality, is related with entropy, and in consequence with time and destruction. As a conclusion and assuming this pose, two projects of Enric Miralles will be analyzed as examples that allow to glimpse flexible, unfinished and opened strategies in order to a real sustainability.
