This article analyzes the work Construction Materials of the Spanish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2013 by Lara Almarcegui, in light of current territorial issues, in order to identify topics beyond the aforementioned work that suggest critical perspectives on the relationship between man and the territory and some emerging alternatives. The topics identified in the artwork analysis such as marginality, un-specificity and temporality, point to interpretative approaches for architectural intervention, suggesting uses and assessments far from the traditional productivism. More generally, this paper emphasizes the utility of artwork analysis to make a critical and proactive reading of the architectural processes in the contemporary territorial context.Downloads
