Abstract

Feeding has always been linked to a specific area where this ritual is held and primitive bonfires were the place where kitchen as a main space emerged. Womens` desires to abandom kitchen slavish space almost made the kitchen area dissappear during the industrial revolution in favor of communal kitchens located in each residential complex. Few years later this new approach evolved and this communal kitchen were substituted by small kitchenettes located in each individual house. Kitchen space has always been changing its size, appearing and dissappering depending on how society evolved. Social strategies were decided while reunited near a bonfire, new relationships were created in social canteens and small kitchens have made our families stronger. It`s then possible to ascertain that new changes are approaching, but what can`t be assured is what the next step would be.
