Abstract

The discovery of some unpublished photographs from Ramón Vázquez Molezún's studio, make us look at the beginning of everything. At the beginning of his career with his MoGaMo colleagues: the sculptor Amadeo Gabino and his cousin the painter Manuel Suárez-Pumariega Molezún. The three defended an integration of the Plastic Arts in their exhibitions, writings and works. Molezún will carry out on those dates, the reform projects of the studios and homes of the first two and years after his own. Apparently minor works, but in which Molezún responds from architecture to the concerns of this artistic group. Molezún will pursue the environments and atmospheres present in the group's works and exhibitions, to bring them to these places of life and work. There would be no better clients for such a purpose. And it will do so in the development of the architectural plants, sections, use of materials and in the objects that he places in these rooms with great intentionality. Some unknown photographs, which go through the rooms of his studio, but in which Molezún is missing: drawing, commenting on his projects or even dodging the camera. However, in the face of his absence, his presence is discovered in all the details, responding to his interests in those years.
