Abstract

Its very large the literature about Guernica, its meaning, its gestation process, the places it visited, as well as the long process that concluded with his return to Spain. Less abundant are the works that relate the picture with the architects who kept some kind of relationship with it. And we could describe as odd the essays that relate Picassos masterpiece to photography. This article tries to relate these three disciplines around Guernica, proposing a physical journey through the spaces that welcomed him; providing the names of the architects who came across the painting; to conclude with the extensive list of photographers who immortalized it in different circumstances. Do not forget that we are, probably, in front of the most photographed picture and artist in history.
