Abstract

The contemporary imposition of the photographic snapshot and the virtual reality of the digital models have contaminated the architectural project. This trend has stolen value to the ideation, understanding, building and experience of the built space. The floor plan and the importance of hand drawing seem to belong to the past and the times of the ancient artisan architects, regarded nowadays as a relique. The well designed lines of the plan draw the encounter with the ground. They design the shape, raise the space, represent and interpret a plan of possible actions. They cherish the shape. The plan is sketch, drawing, raising and representation. Only within the plan does architecture exist.
