Abstract

You may have to get used to the idea that we will always see a part. Although this part, we will also know is subject to a whole. The following letter ascribes to this peculiarity. To make some reflections on the work of School of architecture of the University of Talca. They have parts or images stripped of a linear chronology. Even so, all of these parties have something in common. They are works, say, scale one-by-one; all these Parties addressed a livable scale. These investigations are conducted in specific areas and in the context of a territory, the Central Valley of Chile, which will have to be clarified, is a highly specialized area. The above insofar as possible, this territory has been producer of raw materials and food, issue that profoundly define their social, economic and cultural traits from their agricultural bases, which date back to XVII century. From the above it appears there, a space for reflection; territory and work. But it is also a search, in the emotional and intellectual sense of a work than from a chronological development that yes, has for 15 years.
