Abstract

This research project stems from the need to improve help approach plans for young footballers from big team’s football base. Among all the requisites which determine that a young sportsman reaches to play on the main division, only, and not always, aspects as technical-tactical, physical and psychological could be controlled. On the other hand, the socio-emotional aspects, which the authors believe are as important as the above named, are ignored. Consequently, the purpose of this study is to analyze and describe which percentage of influence have the above factors in the successful progression of a player. Furthermore, we try to determine a new circumstance that has not yet been described as is the socio-emotional one. To complete our research it is necessary to have objective tools, valid and reliable that measure the factors we want to analyze. Therefore, we have created and will validate a questionnaire to measure the socio-emotional dimension and, on the other hand, we have created and will validate an observation sheet that evaluates the player technical and tactical dimension. Existing validated tools will be used for the measurement of other factors. Sample study will be composed of young footballers from first division team’s football base (13-17 years old). The study is classified as descriptive, prospective, with forward directionality and the degree of manipulation of the observation will be void. The longitudinal dimensionality will be for three seasons.
