About the Journal
Kronos is a scientific publication that, since its inception, has aimed to be a point of reference in knowledge within the field of physical activity and sport.
Since 2002 and every six months, articles that meet the selection process criteria are published.
The philosophy of this publication is summarized in four principles:
• Plurality. Collecting and transmitting the results of the widest range of research in this field.
• Internationality. Achieving a bilingual publication that allows us to reach an extensive population.
• Circulation. Working so that the electronic edition arrives without barriers to the greater number of readers, obtaining the inclusion of our magazine in diverse national and international databases.
• Quality. Finding in our reviewers and in the process of blind peer review the guarantees so that the authors of the different articles have a detailed information of the deficiencies found, and in this way, the different contents see the light fulfilling all the requirements of this type of texts.
As of 2014, the magazine is published exclusively in electronic version in Open Access (OA) with the aim of increasing visibility and promoting the use of scientific literature through its platform, which offers a rapid and safe dissemination of research work, as well as an increase in international recognition for the authors.
From the board of directors at Kronos, we take the opportunity to show our gratitude to all the people and institutions that make it possible, including the authors, whom we encourage to send us their work and consider our publication as a completely open portal to share knowledge.
