Analysis of the sports services of Madrid's Universities

Abstract

This research analyzes the current situation of the management model in force, both public and private universities, in the Community of Madrid. For this case study, belonging to the qualitative methodology, a structured questionnaire has been designed, directed to thirteen universities of the region and that is composed of a total of eight variables. The process of obtaining the information was done by sending the questionnaires by email to the Sports Departments. In general, the Sports Services of the Madrid universities do not present a unique model nor do they organize the sport according to the needs of the students. Therefore, a series of guidelines are established that must be taken into account when managing university sports.
