Professional training council on health and physical activity and its influence on (HRQOL) in patients affected by (SM)

The aim of our study was to evaluate in a population sample of Metabolic Syndrome affected, the relationship between high related quality of life (HRQoL) and the type and duration of activity that is recommended by healthcare centers primary care. 46 subjects were included in this cross-observational study in nature, all belonging to different hospitals in the south of Extremadura. All patients completed the questionnaire designed for the purpose of study. We assessed HRQoL (EQ-5D), type and duration of physical activity recommended by the health professional (self-created questionnaire). Differences and relationships were established between variables and differences in HRQOL (p <0.05) depending on the type of AF and also depending on the intensity with which advised exercise. Results from our study establish the importance of communication and information channels may have on the acquisition of active and healthy lifestyles by patients with metabolic disorders. It also establishes the importance of training health professionals should have on PA and even the importance of having a professional PA in health centers.Downloads
