Analysis of the differences in verbal behaviour between graduate and non-graduate coaches in sport initiation

The main aim of this work is to examine differences between football coaches’ verbal behaviour from initiation with and without university formation. For it, we assessed the step of initial information before the games and during the break interval between the two halves. The sample is formed by 6 football coaches of male infantile and cadet category. Collecting data was carried out through indirect and external observation of the audio recording of the coaches verbal behaviour. The main outcomes are that coaches with university formation emphasized for their higher clarity, better structure and higher optimize in the amount of the speech used during the initial information and the break interval, regarding coaches without university formation.Downloads
