Abstract

This study analyses the evolution of the Spanish legislation concerning the contents of Physical Education in Secondary Education. For this purpose, a qualitative descriptive method of historical documentary review has been used, through a primary source, such as the Official State Bulletins (B. O. E. ), by searching for the precise descriptors in the different laws regulations that have been published in Spain, from the antecedents of the General of Education Law until today, analysing each one taking into account its historical context, its legal status, the culture of the moment and removing possible personal and professional damages, in order to understand how these contents have evolved in the field of Physical Education in Spain.
