Abstract

The aim of the paper is analyze and review actual scientific literature regarding with whole body vibration (WBV). The review try to clarify the effects of this kind of exercise on health and fitness, marking benefits and damages as a result of use different parameters (such as frequency, amplitude, time, etc.). Effects of WBV on several topics of health and fitness have been analyzed. The result of the research shows that despite differences between several studies, in general WBV training has positive effects if the training design is appropriate.
