The aim of this study was to track a program of physical activity in the aquatic environment in pregnant women. 15 pregnant women (32.14 ± 2.59 years, 64.72 ± 7.81 kg, 163.20 ± 8.46 cm, 18.57 ± 6.73 weeks of gestation) we seleted. They performed a program of physical activity in the aquatic environment of 6 weeks 3 times per week from 50 to 60 minutes and 55 to 60% of heart rate (HR) maximum. Hamstring flexibility, quantification of the curvature of the spine, anthropometric, blood pressure measurement and estimation of maximum oxygen consumption we evaluated. Was monitored during all sessions of body mass, blood pressure, heart rate and perceived exertion (RPE). We observed a significant decrease in flexibility isquisural, mass and BMI and no significant body fat percentage, curvature of the spine and VO2 max. The sessions were perceived as moderate as the Borg scale (RPE). A program of physical activity in the aquatic environment contributes to maintaining stable functional variables. This raises the need for monitoring of such programs in this poblacion.Downloads
